I completed my bachelor’s studies in Piano under the guidance of Prof. Bob Versteegh at the university of music Detmold and earned my master’s degree under the supervision of Prof. Georg Friedrich Schenck at the Robert Schumann music university in Düsseldorf. Simultaneously, I studied Composition at the University of Music under the guidance of Prof. Martin Christoph Redel and Prof. Fabien Lévy. I pursued my Meisterschülerstudium in Composition at the University of Music and Theatre „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ in Leipzig. Additionally, I completed my Meisterschüler degree in Music theory at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig under the supervision of Prof. Gesine Schröder.
As a composer, I compose pieces for solo instruments, ensembles, and orchestras, occasionally incorporating electronics and live electronics. My compositions have been performed by orchestras such as the Orchestra of Nordharzer Städtebundtheater, the Philharmonic orchestra Wernigerode, and the Detmold chamber orchestra. As the musical director and pianist, I perform in concerts with the „Roter Mond Ensemble.“
I have taught as a lecturer in Harmony, Ear Training, and Music Theory at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and the University of Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Currently, I hold the position of Artistic Teacher in Music Theory and Aural Training at the University of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar.

Mein Bachelor-Studium absolvierte ich im Fach Klavier bei Prof. Bob Versteegh an der Hochschule für Musik Detmold und schloss meinen Master bei Prof. Georg Friedrich Schenck an der Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik in Düsseldorf mit Auszeichnung ab. Zeitgleich studierte ich Komposition bei Prof. Martin Christoph Redel und Prof. Fabien Lévy. Mein Meisterschülerstudium im Fach Komposition absolvierte ich an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ in Leipzig. Den Master im Fach Tonsatz schloss ich ebenfalls an der HMT Leipzig bei Prof. Gesine Schröder ab.
Als Komponist schreibe ich Stücke für Soloinstrumente, Ensemble und Orchester, teilweise auch unter Einbindung von Elektronik und Live-Elektronik. Meine Werke wurden von Orchestern wie dem Orchester des Nordharzer Städtebundtheaters, dem Philharmonischen Kammerorchester Wernigerode und dem Detmolder Kammerorchester aufgeführt. Als musikalischer Leiter und Pianist konzertiere ich mit dem „Roter Mond Ensemble“.
Ich unterrichtete als Lehrbeauftragter für Tonsatz, Gehörbildung und Musiktheorie an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig sowie an der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Zurzeit bin ich als Dozent für Musiktheorie und Gehörbildung an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar tätig.
